Answer:
The Council is required by law to notify you in writing, in advance, of the amount and dates we will be asking your bank for payment. In the unlikely event of a problem, the bank offers a guarantee of a full and immediate refund, this guarantee is printed on the bottom of the Direct Debit instruction.
