We work closely alongside some local organisations who provide help across our district. Click on the links below to head to their websites.

VASL is a local charity based in Market Harborough, providing services and projects to improve the lives of people in our community. These include support for family carers, young carers, older people who are lonely and isolated, providing volunteer transport to get people out and about, and activities and information to increase mental well-being. They are a volunteer-involving organisation and most of their work is delivered by trained volunteers.

First Contact Plus is an online tool which helps adults in Leicestershire find information about a range of services such as information and resources on housing, health, living independently, money advice, work, security and other topics all in one place. First Contact Plus is delivered by Leicestershire County Council in partnership with GPs, the police, health organisations, voluntary groups and social care departments, district & borough councils who are helping adults across the county by working together to make access to services much easier.

Alzheimer's Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity. They campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today.

AgeUK Leicestershire & Rutland is an independent local charity with a national name. They work in the local community to help older people live happier, active, fulfilled and socially-engaged lives in communities around the City, County and Rutland.

Deafblind UK support people with combined sight and hearing loss to live the lives they want. Whether you need some support to get back on your feet after a diagnosis, a helping hand to help you do the things you love, someone to turn to when you’re feeling low or some information, advice and guidance, they're here to help.

Age Concern Lutterworth & District is a small independent local charity working to combat loneliness and isolation among older  people in the Lutterworth area with a range of events and activities. 

British Red Cross help anyone, anywhere in the UK and around the world, get the support they need if crisis strikes. From hiring a wheelchair or dealing with loneliness, to adjusting to life in a new country - they are there to help.

Headway provide support to local brain injury survivors, family and carers and raise awareness to communities about brain injuries.

Vista provides specialist services for people with learning disabilities, dementia and dual sensory impairment, as well as rehabilitation, residential homes and social groups.

National Autistic Society are the UK's largest provider of specialist autism services. Their trained staff and volunteers bring passion and expertise to the lives of 100,000 autistic people every year.

LOROS is a local charity and every year they care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. They provide free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers.

Mosaic deliver services and information which promote inclusion, equality, independence, choice, empowerment, respect and dignity to people with a variety of disabilities. They recognise and challenge the prejudice, discrimination and social isolation that many disabled people face throughout their lives and work to deliver dynamic and creative new services, designed by disabled people.

MS Society are a community of people living with MS, researchers, fundraisers, campaigners and volunteers who are working to make sure no one has to face MS alone. Everything they do is guided by people with MS.

Motor Neurone Disease Association improve care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. They campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND and everyone who cares for them are recognised and addressed by wider society.

Royal Voluntary Service mobilises volunteers to support those in need, in hospital and in the community. Their volunteers provide much-needed support for over-stretched public services and for people as they age.

Dementia Harborough provide support for those newly diagnosed with dementia and their families, and they provide a place where they can have fun together, and jointly support each other.

Parkinson's UK provide information, support and guidance to people affected by Parkinson's. They also influence training for health and social care professionals and develop tools and resources to improve services.
