House to house collections
A permit is required to undertake a 'house to house' collection, under the House to House Collections Act 1939.
Collections generally take place from door to door or from one public house to another.
You must be a registered charity to perform a house to house collection.
To make an application complete the House to House Collection Application Form.
Completed forms should be returned to the Regulatory Services and Licensing Team, email email@example.com or post to Regulatory Services and Licensing Team, Harborough District Council Council Offices, Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7AG.
Your application will be processed within 10 working days.
Making a 'return'
Following a collection you are required to inform the council of the donations that you have received. View the form of statement.
