Structure & Input: Accountability and Authority
he Crime and Disorder Act 1998 established 370 such Partnerships across the country, each based around a local council area. All 370 Partnerships have national crime targets to achieve, each in alliance with their local Police. These targets cover: Vehicle Crime, House Burglary, Violent Crime, Criminal Damage, Robbery, and measures to address Domestic Violence. The partnership reports its activities through a variety of methods to local communities, and always appreciates feedback.
