Airfield Farm planning application

In January 2011 the Council received an outline planning application for a mixed-use development of up to 1000 dwellings, a hotel and marina, open space including a country park, a primary school, and a local centre with retail, healthcare and community uses at Airfield Farm, approximately 1km to the north of the town centre.

The applicant's are Hallam Land Management and William Davis Ltd.

The planning application reference is 11/00112/OUT.

Following adoption of the Core Strategy which supports the principle of a strategic development area to the North West of Market Harborough of at least 1000 dwellings, the Council is preparing a masterplan for the development as required by the Core Strategy in conjunction with landowners and the community.  The masterplan will cover the Airfield Fm application site.

A decision on the application is expected later in 2012
