Statutory Nuisance
The council has powers the deal with nuisances caused by Noise, Light, Smoke, dust, odour and insects.

Environmental Permitting
You must have an environmental permit if you operate a regulated facility in England or Wales.
Private Water Supplies
If water to your property is supplied by a spring, well, borehole, pond or stream it is a private water supply.
Drains and Sewers
The Council's Environment Team provides information and advice about complaints of blocked or defective drains and sewers
Air Quality
The Council has a duty to assess Air Quality in the District
Contaminated land
Historic land uses may have effected the quality of land. The council has a duty to investigate potentially effected sites.
