Adoption of Core Strategy
The adoption of the Core Strategy on 14 November 2011 has replaced a large number of policies set out with the Haborough District Local Plan (April 2001), and these policies will no longer apply. A list of Local Plan policies which continue to apply are set out within Appendix 3 of the Adopted Core Strategy.

Please note that the Local Plan Proposals Map have been updated following the adoption of the Core Strategy. The updated maps are available to view on the Core Strategy page.
A series of guidance notes have also been adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance to the Harborough District Local Plan. They cover a range of topics and act as material consideration in the determination of planning applications.
Various Village Design Statements and Parish Plans have also been produced for settlements within the District. Both types of document act as locally specific Supplementary Planning Guidance to the Harborough District Local Plan. View current Village Design Statements and Parish Plans.
