A new electronic newsletter, featuring a host of information about the Harborough district and local communities, is being produced.

Harborough District Council’s residents’ newsletter ‘Harborough News’ will be going online from summer 2015.

The newsletter will include all the latest council information, funding opportunities, economic updates, plus news of forthcoming events and activities.

It will work in a similar way to the council’s popular business newsletter which is produced monthly and emailed to those on its mailing list.

Cllr Blake Pain, leader of Harborough District Council said: “There is more demand for news and information than ever before and we want to offer this to residents, as quickly and efficiently as possible, in a format they find easy to use. This new electronic newsletter will be issued more frequently than the previous ones which were delivered to each home, and contain useful web links. We would encourage all residents to sign up to receive it so they don’t miss out.”

Sign up to the newsletter by visiting www.harborough.gov.uk/harborough-news

People without access to the internet will be able to view the council newsletter on screens in The Symington Building in Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough. Paper copies will also be available, on request, from The Symington Building.
