New exercise opportunity for mums-to-be

Published Friday 24 February 2017

A new pre-natal exercise class is starting in Lutterworth providing a fun opportunity for mums-to-be to enjoy a gentle work-out.

The classes, being set up by Harborough District Council's active together team, will start on Tuesday 7 March 2017 11.30am-12.30pm at Lutterworth Pavilion.

Taking part in gentle exercise prior to childbirth has many benefits. For example, helping your body recover more quickly after pregnancy, increasing your levels of stamina to help you and your baby through labour, strengthening your muscles in preparation for childbirth, improving your blood sugar control, increasing your energy levels and providing the opportunity to meet other mums-to-be.

The first session is free. Sessions after that are £3.50 a time.

Booking is required to attend the class. Please contact Vanessa Freeth by emailing vanessa_freeth@hotmail.com or text 07764 968544.
