Annual Monitoring Report (AMR)

The Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) forms part of the Local Development Framework and is published annually in December. The purpose of the AMR is to monitor progress against targets and to monitor how effective the policies within individual Development Plan Documents are in meeting the vision set out in the Core Spatial Strategy.

The AMR also monitors whether the timetable set out in the Local Development Scheme is being met. If any of the key milestones are not being met, the reasons for this and remedial actions proposed will be set out in the AMR. The results of the AMR inform the annual revision of the Local Development Scheme.
