Evidence Base for Planning Policy

In order to make the Local Development Framework sound and reflective of local issues, Harborough District Council is required by national planning guidance to produce a number of evidence-based documents.

These include: Strategic Housing Land Availabilty Assessment, Gypsy and Traveller Needs Assessment, Retail Study, Employment Land study, Strategic Housing Market Area Assessment and Landscape Character Assessment.

 

Paper copies of evidence documents may be purchased by contacting the planning policy team on 01858 828282. Please note that these documents carry a  relatively high production cost; they are large and frequently contain coloured maps and plans and, as a result, are expensive to copy.
