Areas of Separation Review

Work on a review of the District’s Areas of Separation has been completed. The purpose of this review is to reassess the boundaries of current Areas of Separation (as defined in Local Plan policy EV/3) and suggest appropriate boundaries for the newly proposed Areas of Separation, taking into account the spatial strategy for the District and the scale, nature and location of development proposed in the Core Strategy.

The Areas of Separation Review is a technical report and as such it does not represent Council policy. Rather it provides evidence for the preparation of the Allocations Plan and its findings will be consulted upon as part of the Issues and Options stage of the Allocations Plan later in 2012.
