Notice of a Community Governance Review

Local Government (Parish and Parish Councils) (England) Regulations 2008

The Council has commenced a Community Governance Review of the civil parishes of the Harborough District. The purpose of the review is to enable the Council to consider if changes are needed to the parish arrangements within the District.

The Council is now conducting the first stage of the review process and is inviting residents and interested organisations to submit their views on existing arrangements together with any proposals for change.

The Council has published its Terms of Reference for the review and a copy can be obtained by contacting the Electoral Services team as shown below or it can be viewed at the Council Offices, Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7AG.  The Terms of Reference can also be viewed and downloaded from the Council’s website.
