In 2014 independent consultants GL Hearn produced a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) for the Leicester and Leicestershire planning authorities. The assessment focused on providing an assessment of the need for housing across the Housing Market Area and at a district level. The findings were used in the early stages of the preparation of the Local Plan for Harborough. The SHMA has now been superseded by the findings of the Leicester and Leicestershire housing and Economic Development Needs Assessment (HEDNA) 2016. |
