In December 2023 Arnesby Parish Council asked Harborough District Council to screen the draft Arnesby Review Neighbourhood Plan for the requirement fo undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment.
In January 2024 the screening assessment was sent to the statutory consultees for their opinion. The screening assessment outcome was that a full SEA was not required for the Arnesby Review Neighbourhood Plan as the policies would not have a significant detrimental affect on the natural and historic environments. |

Arnesby Parish Council, as the relevant body, applied for the designation of the Arnesby Neighbourhood Area. The application was published for a six week period ending on 3 August 2016 and was approved by the Portfolio Holder for Planning Services on 4 August 2016.
