Payment Methods
Payment methods available to customers are
- By direct debit - Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Sundry Debtors, please complete the form provided or contact the call centre on 01858 828282. Once you have provided your bank account details we will do the rest.
- Via the internet by clicking on the link below .This method requires your account reference number / invoice number and either debit or credit card details to use this facility. These are available for Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Sundry Debtors, Benefits overpayments, Building Control Application Fees, Land Charges, and Planning Application Fee. *

- Via an automated telephone line on 0845 300 3283. This method requires your account reference number / invoice number and either debit or credit card details to use this facility. These are available for Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Sundry Debtors, Benefits overpayments, Building Control Application Fees, Land Charges, and Planning Application Fee. *
- At a post office or Pay zone outlet – available for Council Tax, this method requires you to take your Council Tax Demand Notice as they need to use the barcode to process your payment. If you are paying by this method please pay this at least 5 days before the payment is due, this will ensure your payment is received by its due date. Please ensure you obtain and retain your receipt when paying by this method.

- By post to Finance Services, Harborough District Council, Council Offices, Adam & Eve Street, Market Harborough, LE16 7AG. Please make cheques payable to Harborough District Council.
- Or in Person at the Council Offices, Adam & Eve Street, Market Harborough, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:45 to 16:45, and Wednesday 9:30 to 16:45.
* Note: There is a small fee for using a credit card but no charge for using a debit card.
