Free advice on keeping your home warm

Published Tuesday 12 September 2017

People having difficulty keeping their homes warm in the Harborough district are being offered free advice on energy efficiency.

Harborough District Council has teamed up with Harborough Energy, as part of the Warmer Homes Project, with opportunities for residents to take advantage of free or low cost energy-efficiency measures such as cavity or loft insulation.

The council is sending an official letter to households in Harborough district followed by a visit from a representative for Harborough Energy to discuss free home inspections.

All energy efficiency measures possible can be considered. If the householder goes ahead with the installation, Harborough Energy will liaise with the homeowner and installer to ensure completion. All installers have been quality-checked by Harborough Energy.

Data will only be shared if the householder gives permission.
