Dated 25/4/2017

Decision regarding the application for designation of the Husbands Bosworth Neighbourhood Area under section 61G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended by the Localism Act 2011)

An application for the designation of a Neighbourhood Area for Husbands Bosworth was received from Husbands Bosworth Parish Council on 10 April 2016. The application was for the entire Parish of Husbands Bosworth and Regulation 5A of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) and Development Management Procedure (Amendment) Regulations 2016 applies and a six week consultation period is not required.

The Portfolio Holder for Planning hereby exercises their power under section 61G of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) (“the Act”) to designate the area identified on the map below as the Husbands Bosworth Neighbourhood Area.

The Portfolio Holder is satisfied that the area is an appropriate area to be designated as a neighbourhood area for the purposes of 61G of the Act.

The specified area is not wholly or predominantly business in nature and so it is inappropriate to designate it as a business area.
