Armed Forces Survey - share your views

Armed Forces Survey

We recognise that some members of the Armed Forces Community are affected by issues that are a direct result of their service. To help develop and improve the services provided we are trying to find out what those issues are.

This is a survey by Healthwatch Rutland to help inform the local Armed Forces Covenant for Harborough District Council, Rutland County Council and South Kesteven District Council.

The information collected is anonymous and will be shared with the local Armed Forces Covenant and published in a report to improve services and communication.

This survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and we will ask you questions about yourself and your family. The survey concludes on 31 March 2019.

Armed Forces Champion

Councillor  Michael Rook is the current Armed Forces Champion for Harborough District Council. You can contact Councillor Rook by emailing and including as much detail as possible.

Councillor Rook will be a first point of contact for any serving or ex-service, or other charity or community groups with service connections who may need council support.  He will be involved in any decision making process for any bids for funds that may be submitted.

We are committed to providing all the help we can to our forces, and their families. The role will strengthen the bonds between communities, raise awareness and provide practical support. It will help signpost people to information and support on housing, health and wellbeing, education and training, accessing council services, and assistance for a smoother transition into civilian life and the wider community.
