Description from the group: Great Glen Flood Action Group is a volunteer-led community group formed by residents who have experienced flooding first-hand, but open to anyone who is determined to be part of the solution. Our purpose is to bridge the gaps between the relevant agencies (known as Risk Management Authorities or RMAs) — Severn Trent, Leicestershire County Council, Harborough District Council and the Environment Agency — to encourage joined-up thinking in addressing Great Glen’s flood risk. By working collaboratively with partners and sharing local knowledge, we aim to support practical, preventative actions that will protect our community.
