Section 106

Section 106 (S106) is funding secured through a planning obligation request attached to land which is subject to development. These funds are used to mitigate or compensate for the negative impacts of the development. Section 106 funding is used to improve and/or develop community facilities and open spaces.

Section 106 funding is available to parishes which have seen large scale developments over recent years. Parishes are informed of available contributions on a quarterly basis.
