Poppies, brooches, badges, pins and much more will be on sale Tuesday to Saturday between Saturday 27th October and Saturday 10th November 2018.

The Poppy Team said: “We are very grateful for the opportunity to stand at the market again and hope the people of Harborough come out and support us. Every year, even if times are hard, the public is always so generous, so we hope that people know every penny we raise really does make a difference.”

To coincide with the poppy appeal shoppers have the opportunity to make a small craft poppy of remembrance at Harborough Market on Saturday 3 November 2018 10am to 3pm.

Crafted poppies and notes of remembrance will be pinned on a poppy wall and displayed at the market.

Harborough District Council Chairman Lesley Bowles said: “I will be at the market on the 3 November to make my craft poppy of remembrance and to support the Royal British Legion. The poppy appeal campaign is a vital opportunity for the Royal British Legion to raise funds for its charitable works. I wholeheartedly support the wonderful work they have done in our district and encourage everyone to buy a poppy and wear it with pride."

Harborough Market is open 8am to 5pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday for the popular Sunday Antiques Market.
