Vintage poster for classic car show unveiled
Published Monday 15 April 2019The new vintage style poster for this year’s Market Harborough Classic Car Show has been unveiled.
Harborough District Council, which is organising the event, has unveiled the promotional poster for the classic car show being staged in the town in July.
The new poster (pictured) has been created by local artist Jonathan Holder who also created the promotional artwork for previous Classic Car Shows, and artwork to mark the centenary of the end of World War One and women first gaining the right to vote – on display in the Council Chamber.
Market Harborough's Classic Car Show returns on Sunday 7 July 2019 from 10am to 4pm – with some of the most amazing retro cars, motorcycles, scooters and commercial vehicles from across the country lining the streets. They'll also be stalls and activities, plus prizes for 'best in show' and other categories up for grabs for vehicles entered.
There will be a stage set up in The Square with live music, including singers and bands, and Harborough FM will be covering the event.
Last year's event saw over 20,000 people descend on the town for the occasion.
It is free to exhibit your classic vehicle at Market Harborough Classic Car Show but you must register beforehand at www.harborough.gov.uk/classiccarshow and capacity is limited.
Local businesses and shops are encouraged to open for business on the day and support the event in any way they can, for example, by decorating their premises with fabric bunting.
