Following the success of last year’s Community and Volunteers Fair, Harborough District Council is delighted to be hosting the annual event once again.

The 2019 fair will take place on Saturday 17 August, from 10am to 4pm, on The Square in Market Harborough and is once again being organised in partnership with Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough.

Amanda nunnCllr Amanda Nunn (pictured), Harborough District Council’s lead on voluntary sector partnerships, said; “It is important we highlight the great work of charities, local groups and organisations in the district, so we encourage people to support the event and get involved with these excellent causes.”

Neil O’Brien MP (pictured at last year's event), said: “This is a fantastic event to showcase the invaluable work happening all across the Harborough district. It’s a great opportunity for charities, local groups, sports clubs and organisations to engage in meaningful conversations with the public and to hopefully sign up new members and volunteers.”

Many groups such as Harborough in Bloom, Loros, Dementia Harborough, U3A and Eco Church will be offering information regarding their services, the resources available to the public, as well as detailing how to get involved with the work that they do as members or volunteers.
