Car park improvement work set to start
Published Thursday 15 August 2019Improvements to Council-owned district car parks, approved in June, are set to start in Lutterworth and Market Harborough from Monday 19th August 2019.
The car parks to be included in the works are:
Market Harborough
- Welland Park Road
- Scotland Road
- St. Mary’s Road East
- Market Hall
- St. Mary’s Road West
Lutterworth
- George Street
- Chapel Street
- Church Close – including illuminated bollards
Work will begin to resurface car parks for approximately four weeks in Market Harborough , then commence in Lutterworth for approximately five weeks. The wider improvements in Lutterworth include illuminated bollards at Church Close.
The car parks will be closed to the public whilst undergoing the resurfacing work. However, access for deliveries and businesses will be accommodated to keep disruption to a minimum. Car park permits will be valid in other Lutterworth car parks for the duration of the works.
