Calling local employers! Do you have upcoming job vacancies?
Harborough District Council’s Economic Development Team is looking for employers to take part in the first Harborough Jobs Week.
The Harborough Jobs Week will run from Monday 22 March – Sunday 28 March 2021 across the Council’s website and social media platforms. Over the week, local job vacancies will be featured as well as useful employment support opportunities for job seekers in the district.
Employers can let us know about available job vacancies and they will be advertised for free across the Council’s channels during the week Monday 22 – Sunday 28 March 2021.
In addition, if businesses have videos or information about what it’s like to work in their sector or within their business, the team would love to hear from you.
Get in touch now to be included at firstname.lastname@example.org
A range of webinars are also being planned to take place during the week, offering further support to residents seeking employment, on a range issues, from job searching, to writing CVs and job applications, and interview skills.
The week is part of the Council’s ongoing support to help residents and local businesses recovering from the effects of the pandemic restrictions. The Council’s Economic Development Team is working with a range of partners, including local Job Centre Plus, Department for Work and Pensions and the local Work and Skills Forum to deliver the week.
Cllr Phil King, Leader of Harborough District Council said: “This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to reach a pool of potential local candidates and fill their vacancies. I really hope all sizes of local businesses will engage with this exciting inaugural event.”
