Striking banners welcome people into Market Harborough and LutterworthPublished Tuesday 28 February 2023
Bright, welcoming banners encouraging people to visit and invest in Harborough district have been erected on lampposts along some of the main gateways into Market Harborough and Lutterworth.
Harborough District Council has worked with designers and specialist installers to create these striking and attractive tourism and investment banners which promote what is on offer around the district. They are situated in St Mary’s Road, Leicester Road and Northampton Road in Market Harborough and Market Street in Lutterworth.
The tourism banners showcase the variety of things to see and do in the district, including culture, heritage, retail, local events, markets, museums, food and drink, parks, and gardens, as well as reinforcing Harborough district’s ‘Shop Local’ campaign.
The investment banners promote the opportunities to grow businesses at the council’s two business centres and for people to find an interesting career here in the Harborough district.
Cllr Phil King, Leader of Harborough District Council, said: “These banners are a bold way of showing off what Market Harborough and Lutterworth offers residents and visitors. They are the first thing people see when driving into these towns. We have some wonderful facilities and amenities that are worth shouting about.”
