Chairman holds Civic Charity Dinner

On Saturday 4 March 2023, the Chairman of Harborough District Council, Cllr Neil Bannister, held his final Civic event for his year in office – his Civic Dinner.

The event was held at The Wycliffe Rooms in Lutterworth, where the Chairman was joined by civic guests, colleagues, friends and family. Guests included the High Sheriff of Leicestershire, the MP for South Leicestershire, Chairman and Mayors from the county, the Vice-Chairman and Leader of Harborough District Council and representatives from the Chairman's chosen Charity, Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) Leicestershire and Rutland Branch. 

Guests enjoyed an evening of delicious food and friendship with entertainment provided by The Upsiders, a successful covers and original band from the West Midlands.

The Civic Dinner gave the Chairman the opportunity to say Thank You to all those who have supported him over the past 10 months and raised an amazing total of £1,260.00 for his charity.
