Tomorrow evening (Wednesday 5 July), just before sunset, the council will illuminate The Symington Building, which houses the council offices, and the event lights around The Square in support of our hard-working healthcare system.

Other businesses and organisations in the Harborough district are also encouraged to light up blue to show their appreciation.

Cllr Phil Knowles, leader of Harborough District Council, said: “Lighting up our building is a small gesture of appreciation for the tireless work that the NHS staff does every day to care for people. The council acknowledges and appreciates the enormous contribution made by the NHS to our community.”
