People can now look for great places to stay, exciting activities to see and do, local shopping, attractions and leisure experiences on this popular platform which is run by Harborough District Council.

Over 30,000 visitors were recorded as using the site in 2023. Consequently, the council has made it easier for users of the website to browse and navigate as well as make the offering for guests more visible.

Cllr Phil Knowles, Leader of Harborough District Council and Cabinet lead for Culture, Leisure, Economy, and Tourism, said: “Harborough district is a hive of activity welcoming both day and overnight visitors. It’s important that we make it easy to find out what’s here and what exciting events are planned to attract more people to enjoy our mix of great heritage and leisure, culture and adventure.”

This project has received £3,625 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
