Love Lutterworth launches across town centre this February
Published Tuesday 3 February 2026A celebration of Lutterworth will offer arts and creativity, promote local shopping and bring the community together across the town throughout February 2026.
Love Lutterworth is an exciting initiative driven by Lutterworth Town Team, the independent retailer group, with support from Harborough District Council, and partners to organise a busy calendar of exciting events.
Activities to experience and enjoy include free half-term creative craft workshops for kids, the big love songs quiz trail with free sweets and treats and the chance to win a £50 food and drink voucher, a week long exhibition from local artists, a shared reading event, arts and craft workshops for adults and a strong shop focus celebrating independent retailers, cafes and eateries.
Visitors to Lutterworth on Saturday 14 February can enjoy free car parking in council owned car parks and an afternoon of music from the Lutterworth Town Band performing a Love Themes Concert at the Wycliffe Rooms.
St Mary's Church invites the community to add a leaf to the "Tree of Life" to a symbolise love and remembrance and The Churchgate Community Centre Open Kitchen is offering love themed snacks at the Thursday Open Kitchen.
Cllr Jo Asher, Cabinet lead for Culture, Leisure, Economy and Tourism, said: “Vibrant town centres are important to our local economy. Love Lutterworth is a great way to celebrate the creativity and community that makes Lutterworth a valued place, and everyone is invited to join in.”
