Tom Shepherd and Linzie Maycock have moved their NFU Mutual office into an iconic town centre building in Market Harborough.
The rural insurer, which is relocating from their current base in Market Harborough, has set up in The Symington Building, in Adam and Eve Street, in the retail unit previously occupied by Spar.
Tom Shepherd, NFU Mutual Agent said: “We are excited to be working in such a lovely and iconic building. It will give us a fantastic location to continue to offer expert insurance and financial services to the farming and rural community. We are looking forward to welcoming existing customers to our new office, but also meeting new customers, so if you are in town do pop in and say hello to us.”
In recent years Harborough District Council, which owns The Symington Building, has made great strides in maximising the potential of its key buildings including The Symington Building which has become a multifunctional building generating income for the taxpayer.
Councillor James Hallam, Harborough District Council’s portfolio holder for finance and assets, said: “As a local farmer I am pleased to be welcoming NFU Mutual to our building. We continue to make great use of this wonderful building for the benefit of taxpayers.”
