Community Safety
Our Community Safety Team works closely with departments across Harborough District Council and key external partners—including the Police, Health Services, and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue—to create a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone who lives, works, and spends time in Harborough District.
We work in partnership to reduce, resolve, and prevent crime, disorder, and anti-social behaviour by focusing on early intervention, support, and prevention. Through targeted campaigns and initiatives, we address key issues such as road safety, vehicle crime, domestic abuse, cybercrime, and drug and alcohol misuse—helping to create a safer and more resilient community.
