Full details are contained in the Applicant Guidance. The requirements and process for applicants is the same for both grants.
- Before approaching your ward member for support, use this checklist to help identify whether your organisation and project are likely to be ready for funding.
- Discuss your project with your ward member, explaining the project, the local need or opportunity it addresses, the expected community benefit and the amount of funding sought. Councillors by Ward | Harborough District Council
- If your ward member wishes to support the project, they will advise the Grants Officers.
- The Officers will send you a link to apply formally on the online grant portal, together with an application pack to assist you.
- Once you have submitted your formal application, Officers assess eligibility and complete due diligence checks.
- The application is considered at the next scheduled internal moderation. meeting. The Officers’ summary is sent to the ward member, who makes the final funding decision.
- If approved, you complete the relevant terms and conditions or legal agreement before payment.
