Ordering household bins in Harborough District

Request a new domestic waste or recycling bin

Complete this form if you would like to request a new black domestic waste bin or blue-lidded recycling bin if your household does not already have one.

For new green bin, garden waste subscriptions please visit: www.harborough.gov.uk/garden-waste

Before you begin – please note:

  • You can only order bins for a new build property a maximum of 7 days before your move in date.
  • If you have recently moved into a new build property or rental property please check with your developer / landlord before you submit any bin request forms. Your developer may have already ordered bins for your household and you could be charged for duplicate orders.
  • You will need to know what colour and size of bin you have / want to order. Please review the size options below.
  • If you request a larger black bin you will be asked to verify that you qualify for one (have 5 or more household members living full time at your property).
  • Please make a note of the new reference number you receive once you have submitted the form. Customer Services will reference this number if they contact you.
  • We aim for our contractor to deliver your new bin within seven working days - this can sometimes be longer during busier periods. Please ensure that you add your house name or number to the bin as soon as possible.
