Council Tax Reduction - definitions

For the purpose of Council Tax the definition of 'hospital patient' is :

Any person who has their sole or main residence in a hospital will be disregarded for the purposes of discount. (Hospitals can be civilian or military).

This particular disregard rests on there actually being a change to a person's sole or main residence.

This discount is for a permanent move not a temporary stay.
